One man was hanged in Semnan today, April 9

Iran Human rights, April 9: One man was hanged in the prison of Semnan, east of Tehran, today Wednesday April 9, reported the official Iranian news agency IRNA. He was identified as "P. P." (31) from Garmsar, and cherged with the murder of M.A. according to the report.

This is the first reported execution in the Iranian new year which started on March 21.
