Iran Human Rights, June 10: Two people were hanged in the prison of Sanandaj, the capital of Iranian Kurdistan province, early today Tuesday June 10, reported the website "Human Rights Activities in Iran".
One of those executed was a 17 years old boy identified as Mohammad Hassanzadeh, who was sentenced to death for a crime he allegedly committed when he was 14 years old. The other prisoner hanged in Sanandaj today was a 60 years old man identified as Rahim Pashabadi, convicted of an alleged murder.
The execution of the 17 years old boy takes place while all the attentions were focused on the three minors scheduled to be executed in Tehran tomorrow.
In a notice on his weblog, Mohammad Mostafaei, the lawyer of 20 juvenile offenders on the death row, regreted the news of the execution of the 17 years old Mohammad Hassanzadeh, and asked everyone with information about minors sentenced to death to contact him on his email address: mostafaeilawyer@gmail.com
