A man was hanged in the southern province of Hormozgan, Thursday June 19

Iran Human Rights, June 20: One man was hanged in the prison of Bandar Abbas, the capital of the southern province of Hormozgan, last week, reported the state run news agency ISCAnews.

He was identified as "Farzad D." (27) and was sentenced to 6 years in prison, 74 lashes and hanging, convicted of murder and robbery according to the report.

According to the Iranian daily newspaper Etemad, Farzad was hanged in the prison of Bbandar Abbas on Thursday June 19.
