Iran Human Rights, July 27: According to the Iranian state media 29 people were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early this morning! None of those executed were identified by name, while few of them were identified just by their initials! According to the state run ISCA news these people were convicted of murder, drug trafficking, disruption of order, consumption of alcohol, keeping arms, immoral relationships and other crimes!
This is the highest number of executions taken place during a single day in many years.
