Iran Human Rights, May 12: Four people were hanged in the cities of Isfahan and Zahedan yesterday morning May 11. reported the Iranian daily Etemad.
According to the report two men identified as Mostafa (26) and Hossein (age not mentioned), both convicted of murder, were hanged in the central prison of Isfahan.
The two other men, identified as "Mohammad Mehdi" and "Reza Gholi" and convicted of drug trafficking were hanged in teh central prison of Zahedan, in south-eastern Iran, said the report.
One person was executed on Sunday May 10. and two others on Tuesday May 12: According to the site "Human rights and democracy actvists in Iran", besides Monday’s two executions in Isfahan, three other people have been executed in the prison of Isfahan since Sunday May 10.
These executions have not been confirmed by the official Iranian media yet.
