Three men were hanged in Isfahan on May 16

Iran Human Rights, May 17: Three men were hanged in Isfahan yesterday May 16. reported the Iranian daily newspaper Etemad.

According to the report, Mahmood (age not given) convicted of murder, Alireza Ch. convicted of drug trafficking and a third unidentified man who also was convicted of drug trafficking were hanged in the prison of Isfahan yesterday morning May 16.

According to our reports at least 32 people have been executed in Iran so far in the month of May 2009, and 8 of these executions have taken place in Isfahan.
