Two men scheduled to be hanged in Tehran today January 30

Iran Human Rights, January 30: According to the reports from Iran two men are scheduled to be hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison today.

The state run news agency ISNA reported that the two men identified as "Masoud" and "Mohammad" are convicted of raping a woman in Lavasan (north of Tehran) in fall 2009, and their execution will be carried out today (saturday January 30) in middle of the day.

Execution of these men was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, but it was postponed, probably due to the executions of Mohammadreza Ali Zamani and Arash Rahmanpour in connection with the summer’s post-election protests.
