Three people were hanged in Yazd, Central Iran, yesterday September 20.

Iran Human Rights, September 21: Three people were hanged in the prison of Yazd, central Iran, Monday morning September 20. reported the state run Iranian news agency ISNA.

According to the report those executed were identified as "M. M." and "A. Ch." convicted of hiding 111 kilos of heroin "A. D." convicted of trafficking of 1520 grams of opium and 60 kilos of heroin.

The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources. According to the official Iranian sources at least 9 people have been hanged in the period of September 14-20.
