One woman and three men were hanged in Iran on the international day against the death penalty

Iran Human Rights, October 10: One woman and three men were hanged in the prison of Zanjan, west of Iran, early this morning reported the state run Iranian news agency Fars.

None of those executed were identified by name in the report. They were all convicted of drug trafficking according to the report.

During the international week against the death penalty at least 12 people have been executed in Iran.
