Five people were hanged in Central Iran- 17 executions in five days

Iran Human Rights, October 11: Five people were hanged in the prison of Isfahan, central Iran, reported the state run Iranian news agency "Aftab" today.

None of those executed were identified by name, and they were all convicted of drug trafficking according to the report.

According to the official reports, 17 people have been executed during the past 5 days in Iran.
