Group Hanging of at Least 6 Men in Ghezelhesar Prison

Edit (31 August 2025): According to newly obtained information, Ahmad Ali Mehripour’s execution was postponed for unknown reasons that day and subsequently carried out three days later, on 30 August. Owing to the significant challenges in communicating from within prisons and the severe restrictions in place, occasional inaccuracies may arise. Accordingly, Iran Human Rights promptly issues corrections once the facts have been verified.
