Seven prisoners hanged in central Iran

Iran Human Rights, December 20: Seven prisoners were hanged in Isfahan Prison.

Kayhan, a state-run Iranian daily newspaper reported seven prisoners were hanged in Isfahan Prison on December 19.

The report said six of the prisoners were convicted of drug trafficking, and one of them was convicted of rape.

The prisoners were between the ages of 25 and 45 years, said the report.

None of the prisoners were identified by name.
