Mohammad Mehdi Soleimani

Mohammad Mehdi Soleimani is a “Woman, Life, Freedom” protester arrested in Mashhad on 23 September 2022. On 17 November 2024, Iran state media reported news of his conviction based on his “confessions.” He is held in Mashhad (Vakil Abad) Central Prison.

CHARGES: Murder of IRGC member Rasoul Doustmohammadi.

STATUS: Sentenced to qisas (retribution-in-kind) for the murder, 30 months imprisonment and diya (blood money) for the injury of another IRGC member and 30 months and 74 lashes for the possession of inflammable and incendiary materials” by the Mashhad Criminal Court.
