Yassin Kabdani

Yassin Kabdani is a 21-year-old Baluch protester arrested in relation to the 3 January 2023 “Woman, Life, Freedom” protest in Zahedan. He was subjected to physical and psychological torture to extract forced confessions that were aired by state media a day after his arrest and  used as evidence of the charges. Yassin was denied medical care and access to a lawyer of his choice. He is held in Zahedan Central Prison.

Charges: Moharebeh (enmity against god) and efsad-fil-arz (corruption on earth) 

Status: Sentenced to death by the Zahedan Revolutionary Court on 16 June 2025.
