Akbar Fatemi, along with another man, were hanged in Isfahan this morning, Tuesday March 4

Iran Human Rights, March 4: Two men were hanged in Isfahan’s prison early this morning Tuesday March 4, reported the Iranian daily Qods. They were identified as Mirza (26) and Akbar F. (age not mentioned), and were convicted of murder and robbery and murder respectively, according to the report.

Akbar F. is believed to be the same individual (Seyed Akbar Fatemi) that Iran Human Rights warned about his scheduled execution yesterday.

According to the reports from "Democracy and Human Rights Activists in Iran", Mr. Fatemi was forced to confess the murder which he was convicted of.
