Iran Human Rights, April 15: The Iranian daily newspaper Etemad and the state run news agency Fars reported about 3 executions in the prison of Isfahan. They were identified as : Gholamreza (48, convicted of rape), and Ismaeil (27) and Rasoul convicted of drug trafficking according to the report.
According to the website "Human rights and democracy activists in Iran" three men were hanged in the prison of Isfahan. These men are identified as Rasoul Mohammadi (45), Gholam Rahimi (35) and Rahim Panjehpour (60), according to the report. It was not mentioned on what charge they were executed. It is unclear whether these are the same individuals as reported above.
According to the same site, two others identified as "Shahram Shah Mansour" (24) and "Seyyed Hassan Mousavi" (25) are scheduled to be executed on Thursday April 17 in the same prison.
