Iran Human Rights, May 6: Four men are scheduled to be hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early morning May 7, reported Iranian daily Etemaad.

They are identified as Majid, Hassan, Mohammad and Iraj, and are all convicted of murder. Their age was not mentioned in the report.

Behnood Shojaee, convicted of a murder when he was 17 years old, was scheduled to be executed along with the four other prisoners. His execution has now been postponed after an order from the head of the Iranian judiciary. It is believed that the national and international attention on Behnood’s case was the main reason of postponing his execution.
