Iran Human Rights, May 27: A man identified as Reza was hanged in the prison of Qom (South of Tehran) early this morning May 27, reported the government newspaper Iran. His age was not given in the report.

He was convicted of abducting a husband and wife on a roadway and abusing the woman in front of her husband whose hands were tied according to the report. Another individual identified as Amir (26) was sentenced to 99 lashes and 3 years of prison for assisting Reza in this act.
