Iran Human Rights, June 20: According to several official Iranian media four people are scheduled to be hanged soon convicted of the ambiguous charges such as "arazel o obash" , which is directly translated to "rascals and villains".

According to the government newspaper Iran the execution verdict of the four has been confirmed by the Supreme Court and the four are made aware of the imminent execution. None of the men are identified by name nor any specific charges are mentioned.

Several activist websites have raised the question whether Hani Khandar and Hamed Akbari, who were arrested last year in Tehran could be among those scheduled to be executed.

According to the website "Student Committee of the Human Rights Reporters" the names of Mr. Hani Khandar and Mr. Hamed Akbari were arrested along with more than 1000 others charged with disruption of public order in Tehran. Their names were also among a list of 27 people sentenced to death, published by the security forces.
