Iran Human Rights, August 3: Three men were hanged in the prison of Hamedan, western part of Iran, reported the state run news agency ISCA news today.
All the three were convicted of rape, in two diffenet cases, said the report.
None of the men were identified by name, and Iran Human Rights can not confrim that they were convicted of the alleged charges.
Number of the executions has increased significantly in the Iranian prisons, since the pro-democracy demonstrations started after June 12 elections.
