Saeed Jazi, a child offender could be facing execution soon

Iran Human Rights, January 1., 2008: A "child offender" Saeed Jazi could be facing execution soon, convicted for a murder he allegedly committed when he was 17. He is now 21 years old and his death sentence has now been sent to the Supreme Court for permission to be carried out. The detailed report has been written by the Iranian journalist and human rights activist Asieh Amini on her weblog Varesh. According to this report, Mohammad Mostafaee who has been the defending several other child offenders, is also Saeed Jazi’s lawyer.

Iran Human Rights reported earlier in December about 2 other child offenders Ali and Behnood, who are at imminent risk of execution.
