Iran Human Rights, December 20: One prisoner was hanged in the prison of Saveh (southwest of Tehran) early this morning Tuesday December 20.
According to the state run Iranian enws agency ISNA, the prisoner who was identified as "N. Y." was convicted of keeping and carrying 800 grams of heroin and 39 grams of crack.
The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
