According to the judiciary’s Mizan News Agency, a man was hanged in Qom Central Prison on 18 October 2025. Announcing the execution of the unnamed man, the Qom province Chief Justice stated: “For personal and professional reasons, this individual established contact with the intelligence services of the Zionist regime, held meetings with a Mossad officer, cooperated in intelligence matters, and began sending confidential information online to the child-killing and fake Zionist regime; through the swift and intelligent actions of the country’s intelligence and judicial apparatus, he was identified and the outflow of sensitive information was prevented.”

According to the report, he made contact with Mossad agents in October 2023 and was arrested in February 2024.
